The weather over the Ardennes battlefield has just cleared and is suitable for operations. Conduct a fighter sweep over the Bastogne sector where the 101st Airborne Division is holding the town in bitter fighting. Clearing out the Luftwaffe will help our fighter-bombers on their attack runs.
Eight squadron airplanes are available for this mission.
